Tramca Group Inc. is a business communications company that provides
strategic planning, marketing and advertising consulting, corporate
communications and multi-media production services to
Small-to-Medium-sized Enterprises/Businesses (SME/SMB) for Special
Events, Community, Multicultural and Specialty Markets across
Canada, USA and the Caribbean.
Tramca operates in both
the business-to-business (B2B) and business-to-consumer (B2C)
arenas. Its main focus is on strategic planning. “Any
business that operates without a strategic plan that incorporates
its business, marketing, advertising and sales plans into a dynamic
process is doomed to mediocrity”. Strategic planning for business,
marketing, advertising and sales solutions is the single most
important factor that guarantees success to any organization.
Without it all planning that follows becomes meaningless. Strategic
planning is the secret to success. Strategic planning
is the essence of life that, when injected into a business plan,
turns it into a dynamic process aimed at success. It usually takes,
at least, one short term - usually a period of twelve months - to
implement, steer, nurture and guide a plan to ensure that it stays
on the chosen path of least resistance.
What's A SME/SMB?
Under Industry Canada's definition, the term "SME"
for small to medium-sized enterprise - also referred in the business
arena as "SMB" for small to medium-sized business - represents all
companies with up to 500 employees. According to Statistics Canada:

Tramca (Canada)
was established in 1982 in Montreal, Canada. It was set up as a
result of a contract given to three graduating students of McGill
University whose final-year thesis was to design a marketing
plan for a failing small-sized computer company. Six months after
implementation of this marketing plan the company was purchased by
Phillips Electronics and a marketing\advertising contract was
offered to the students. Thus was born Tramca (Canada)
Business/Marketing/Advertising Development Company.
Between 1982 to 1990 tramca, along with Banyan
Ltd., a television production house of Trinidad & Tobago, and
under the auspices of UNESCO International, assisted in:

developing the business of television production in several
islands of the Caribbean, including Trinidad & Tobago, Belize, St. Lucia, St. Vincent,
Dominica, Antigua, Montserrat, St. Kitts, Barbados, Jamaica, Guyana
and Honduras.

programs for the Caribbean region, and the BBC in the United
Kingdom.

plans for several companies in Trinidad & Tobago and throughout the

(Canada) incorporated in 1990 as tramca communications
group inc., and became a full-service
Marketing/Advertising/Sales Solutions Agency.
Today, Tramca Group
Inc. consists of 7 divisions through which it provides
affordable, professional and efficient B2B and B2C services to
SMEs/SMBs across Canada, USA and the Caribbean.
